Get Better. Faster.
1.        The race is won in the off season
2.        Train frequently, all year round
3.        Start gradually and gently
4.        First train for distance, then for speed (build a big base)
5.        Go hard on the hard days, easy on the easy days
6.        Do not overtrain
7.        Avoid monotony
8.        Train with others
9.        Keep a logbook
10.      Take a break at the end of a season, stay active
