Dr. Silberman placed 5th overall and first in his age group at the Iberoamerican Championships
for the middle distance (70.3km triathlon) in Havana, Cuba.
Dr. Silberman has been accepted and joined the staff at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

Dr. Silberman presented It's Not All Shin Splints at the ANJC Physical Rehab and Performance
Council's sports series on April 19, 2016 in Morristown.
Dr. Silberman presented Performance Testing in Cycling on March 3 in Morristown at Atlantic
Health Sports Medicine sponsored by High Gear Cyclery.
Dr. Silberman discussed Stress Fractures on January 28 at a conference at Ridge High School
addressing the current epidemic of overuse injuries seen in High School athletes.
Dr. Silberman's chapter on Road Cycling was accepted for the upcoming Netter's Sports
Medicine textbook, 2nd edition.
Dr. Silberman won the PanCan Purple Stride 5km in Parsippany on November 8.
Dr. Silberman's 2013 article Bicycling Injuries in Current Sports Medicine Reports was
plagiarized verbatim by the Team Physician of a European Continental Cycling Team in chapter of
a book published by Springer, entitled The Expert View On Bicycling Injuries.
Dr. Silberman has been invited again to author the chapter on bicycling injuries in the upcoming
2nd edition of Netter's Sports Medicine textbook.
Dr. Silberman placed 13th overall and 2nd in his age group in the NYRR 10km Spring Meltdown
on March 29.
Dr. Silberman placed 30th overall in the NYRR Fred Lebow Half Marathon in Central Park on
January 25 and met the qualifying standard for automatic entry into the 2016 NYC Marathon and
the qualifying time standard for automatic entry into the 2016 NYC Half Marathon.
Dr. Silberman presented: 'The Multisport Athlete: Risks, Injury, and Prevention' at the Atlantic
Health Sports Medicine Lecture Series on January 26.
Dr. Silberman placed 2nd in his age group at the NYRR Joe Kleinerman 10km on January 10.
Dr. Silberman earned the title of All American by USA Triathlon for the 2014 Season.
Dr. Silberman has been certified with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography
(ARDMS), the globally recognized standard of excellence in sonography, in the speciality of
Musculoskeletal Ultrasound after passing the examination in October with a score of 642 out of
Dr. Silberman has been hired as the Plainfield High School football team physician.
Dr. Silberman scored among the top in passing the Sports Medicine recertification board
examination in July.
Dr. Silberman won the Anthracite Olympic Triathlon in Jim Thorpe, PA on July 20th.
Dr. Silberman placed 3rd in his age group at the NYRR Run as One Four Miler (PR) in April and
NYRR Gridiron Four Miler in February.
Dr. Silberman placed 7th overall at the NYRR Spring Meltdown 15km Club Race in March.

Series on November 25, 2013.

Dr. Silberman placed 2nd overall in the HITS North Country Full Aquavelo in Hague, NY (Lake
George) on June 29.
Dr. Silberman was the 3rd Overall male swimmer in th 2.4mile Lap the Lake swim in Wycoff on
June 8 and the 3rd Overall runner in the 10km Woodcliff Lake Run for Education on June 9.
Dr.Silberman won the Jersey Man Aquavelo May 18.
Dr. Silberman met the qualify standard (BQ10) for the 2014 Boston Marathon at the Bi-Lo Myrtle
Beach Marathon February 16.
Dr. Silberman gave a talk on "Sitting Disease" at Anadigics for the CIGNA 10,000 Steps Program.
Dr. Silberman qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships with his performance in June
at Ironman Tremblant 70.3.

Dr. Silberman placed 1st in his age group at the Jersey Shore Half Marathon in May.
